Process Art Classes for 3 - 5 Year Old

What is process art?
Process art puts the focus on children making, doing, trying and experimenting with materials to create unique art experiences. The end result is not as important as the process the child discovers as they create. Each time they learn something new - about mixing colours, about what will or won't stick, or a different way of doing things to get the desired result. It's a class where the things that don't work are just as important as the things that do.
Parents are encouraged to let their kids take the lead to explore and are welcome to stay and participate if their child wants them to join in the art-making process.
An invitation to create...each week, our artTots facilitators provide a fun, guided art experience where children build confidence as they are encouraged to think creatively, imaginatively and independently. Combining literature, music and art, these 45 minute sessions allow your child to explore the creative process through mark making and using different mediums, responding to literature and music.

Sick Children Policy and Make-up Classes
Please do not bring sick children to class. All children's temperatures will be checked upon arrival and unwell children will be asked to leave.
If your child cannot attend a class because they are ill, please let us know. The class will be credited and can be used the following term. We will credit up to a maximum of two missed classes only. In cases where there is a medical certificate or a family emergency, we will refund fees at our discretion. In adherence to our Covid-Safe Policy, this will be strictly enforced.

How much does it cost?
Can I do a trial class?
You can attend a once-off paid trial class at the single session rate of $28 to see if the class is for you and your child. If you choose to stay for the term, the trial session fee is deducted from the full term fee (or pro-rata for late start) and invoiced accordingly.
To book a trial class, please email us with your child's name, date of birth and best mobile contact for parent/carer.
